David Riddell, International Director

riddellDavid Riddell is a visionary and church planter committed to seeing church multiplication become the norm among the world’s least-reached peoples as lives are transformed by the gospel.

David and his wife Becky joined World Team in 1985, while David was pursuing his degree at Westminster Theological Seminary. After David was ordained in the Bible Fellowship Church denomination, he and Becky left in 1988 to serve as church planters in France. In 1995, David became France Field Director and initiated a strategy to encourage and support the start up of 50 new church plants over the next 20 years.

In 2005 David assumed the responsibilities of Europe Area Director and focused the region’s vision toward encouraging, stimulating and supporting at least three church multiplication movements across Europe.  Appointed as World Team’s International Director in 2008, David’s leadership example, passion for church planting, and heart for the Lord are sure to impact our Kingdom work in significant ways.


Brian Billing, Executive Director, World Team Australia

billingBrian Billing is a pastor, teacher and former missionary to Irian Jaya. He and his wife, Janice, worked with the Australian Baptist Missionary Society in Indonesia from 1987 to 1995. Brian’s involvement in theological education and his role as coordinator of evangelism for the Baptist Union of Irian Jaya fostered an enthusiasm for cross-cultural evangelism and church planting.

Brian served in the pastorate after returning to Australia, and in 1997 was appointed as Executive Director of World Team Australia. His mix of missionary and pastoral gifts has been essential to the mission at a time when profound changes are taking place in missionary life and work.


Bill Allan, Executive Director, World Team Canada

allanIn 2007, Bill Allan was called to lead World Team Canada. For fifteen years he and his wife Michele served as church planters with World Team in Peru. For nine years, Bill also served as Peru field director and on the America’s Area Leadership Team overseeing ministries in Peru, Chile and Brazil.

The focus of the Allan’s ministry in Peru was church planting, leadership mentoring and development. Bill also served as an adjunct professor at the Lima Evangelical Seminary and he continues to travel several times a year to Peru to teach courses in missions and leadership.


Kevin Oessenich,  Executive Director, World Team USA

kevin.oAfter much prayer and an extensive search, the World Team U.S. Board of Directors announced the unanimous appointment of Dr. Kevin L. Oessenich as U.S. Director for World Team. Dr. Oessenich will take office on September 20, 2010 after concluding 18 years at Philadelphia Biblical University where he launched the School of Lifelong Learning and served as its Dean.

Kevin’s leadership experience and passion for the missional nature of the local Church were key to his selection. He brings 30 years of professional experience and education, developing skills in administration, counseling, leadership, and ministry. The transition from academia to global missions is a natural one; an outgrowth of many years of relationships with missionaries, serving as an elder at Davisville Church in Southampton, PA, and a strong conviction that God works primarily through His Church.

Kevin holds degrees from Philadelphia Biblical University, Rider University and earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership focusing on administration and adult learning from Immaculata University. Kevin and his wife Cheryl have been friends of World Team for many years, enjoying their role as supporters and senders. They have two grown children and are actively engaged in their local community.
