Key ministry initiatives in need of prayer and financial support:

proj_mobileMission: Mobilization:- “More workers!” That’s the cry heard from missionaries and national believers across our fields. From NYC to the Philippines more men and women of God are needed to share the Gospel and grow the church. A gift to Mission: Mobilization will mobilize more workers for cross-cultural ministry among unreached peoples.

proj_computer softwareComputer Software (Sending Center): New software will greatly improve record keeping, create a new central database, and streamline administration. Providing better service to donors, churches and missionaries makes us better stewards of the people and resources entrusted to World Team.

proj_suinameTribal Ministry (Suriname): 50 years ago the Trio and Wayana tribes were unevangelized. Today nearly 100% of both tribes have come to faith in Jesus. Now they send missionaries to reach other tribes within the Amazon region. Tribal leaders are requesting ongoing mentoring and development. A portable Bible school is helping meet these needs.

proj_france
Church Planting (France): 50 churches in 20 years. That’s a big goal in a nation that averages one evangelical church per 33,000 people. But progress is being made, thanks in part to donors who share the vision. To reach the goal, support is needed to recruit, train and release new workers – including French nationals in church leadership.

proj_philippinesMinistry Training Center (Philippines):
The church in many parts of the Philippines is growing. A ministry training center will help train missionaries to serve cross-culturally in the Philippines and beyond. A mobile theological school will equip rural leaders without uprooting them from their communities. This training center is important to the long-term outreach of the national church.

proj_fubleMicro-enterprise/Missionary Training (Africa): Muslims who come to faith are finding their place in the Great Commission. African missionaries receive training and seed money to launch micro-businesses to support their families and establish a presence where they serve. Annually, each family needs approximately $1,200 for training, $1,500 toward daily living, and $2,000 for micro-business set-up and relocation expenses.

proj_careMissionary Care: Missionary life is a high, yet demanding calling. World Team is committed to caring for the spiritual, physical and emotional health of each of our members. The Missionary Care Project increases accessibility to good resources so missionaries can not only survive, but thrive in the ministries to which they’re called. Suggested donation: $100

proj_europe Moving to Movements in Europe: Our vision is to stimulate three church planting movements in Europe by 2025. New cultural influences and a changing religious climate are providing ample opportunities to multiply churches in Europe. Your gifts will accelerate innovation, cooperation, and multiplication as multicultural teams are recruited, trained, and released.

proj_business
Business as Mission: Solid businesses are the best means of engaging communities for Christ in some parts of the world. Funds are needed to recruit professionals and establish relevant businesses. Suggested donation: $250

proj_PHIL bible
Bible Printing (Philippines): After 50 years of translation efforts the entire Word of God is now available in the Ayangan-Ifugao language, including foot notes! World Team and Filipino translators partnered to make it happen. Now financial partners are needed to fund typesetting, printing and distribution of Bibles. Suggested donation: $66 ($1 for each book of the Bible)

proj_papua

Bible Printing & Dedication (Papua): The Kimyal are grateful to finally have the full New Testament in their heart language, thanks to a collaborative effort by missionaries, Papuans, and the United Bible Society. This project supports the printing, dedication and distribution of the Kimyal NT. Other Bible projects in Papua include the Momuna NT, Hupla OT, and second printing of the Dani Bible. Suggested gift: $25, $50, or $150

proj_oroko

Oroko Bible Translation (Cameroon): What would you pay to have one verse of Scripture in your own language? $10? That’s roughly the cost to prepare one verse for publication. The Gospel of Luke is ready for typesetting and publishing in Oroko. Translation of Genesis is underway. Encourage 10 friends to each support one verse. Or set a group goal to raise $850 and support the work of nine translators for an entire month!
